Meet The Martini CzarThe Martini Czar, a name not self-imposed but given to him by several media persons and quickly adopted by his adoring customers, was named at birth by his parents, Andrew Gerofsky.
Andrew has lived in Lancaster County for more than a decade with his lovely wife, the Czarina Lauren, their two sons, and now a guinea pig. He hails from Philadelphia where he worked in movie theatres, including a premier house in Center City and the International Film Festival at the University of Pennsylvania. You can test his movie trivia while sampling his designer martinis!
Andrew has devoted his entire professional life to other people's "nights out." He loves the service industry, and is determined to continue bringing creative drinking and dining experiences to his customers. Andrew has worked at such high profile places as Bent Creek Country Club in Lititz, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Maxine's Martini Bar at Haydn's on Pine in Harrisburg, the State's Capital. He has also tended bar at such off-the-beaten-track places as Dugal's in Gap and The Railroad House in Marietta. This variety is a testimony to your Czar's drive to "take it to the people!" Martinis, as his loyal royal subjects know, are not just shaken and served with an olive; they are a designer's expression of the drinker's taste. Andrew makes his mark by continually matching the personality of his customers with a flavor to enhance their food and their mood.
Although Andrew has his favorite martinis, he never stops creating his own recipes with new flavored vodkas and other ingredients. He also varies classic recipes, such as the Cosmopolitan. Try one of the Czar's "Cosmos" and you'll be assured a unique experience!
The Martini Czar, in his quest to expand the good name of his "Vodka Kingdom", often works at benefits for other organizations. He has helped raise funds for the Lancaster Jewish Community Center by presenting an outdoor festival celebrating all cultures. He is also assisting the Millersville Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. The Czar also performs his mastery at a yearly event to benefit the Lancaster Museum of Art, aptly named "A Cosmopolitan Evening." Send him an email to learn more about the Martini Czar's upcoming special events. Consider too, contacting Andrew about bartending at your next special event. The Martini Czar looks forward to serving you soon!
